Moya Novella
is Global Privacy and AI Policy Counsel at IBM, where she advises on the organization’s policy and advocacy strategy for emerging global privacy and artificial intelligence legislations and regulations. She also advises IBM’s AI Ethics team on matters that drive IBM’s global AI thought leadership. Moya serves as Adjunct Professor of Privacy Law at Albany Law School in New York where develops and instructs courses in data privacy law and emerging AI issues. She speaks internationally at industry and law conferences on the topics of privacy and AI regulatory policies. Moya holds CIPP/E and CIPP/US privacy certifications from the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
When she is not steeped in cutting edge privacy and AI policy matters, Moya pursues the sport of competitive archery. Moya also enjoys international travel and hiking. Among her many adventures, she recently enjoyed a hike of The Seven Cascades Tamarin Falls in Mauritius.
