“Receiving the Outstanding Law Student Award from the National Association of Women Lawyers is incredibly humbling and an essential affirmation as to why I decided to pursue public interest law and go to law school in the first place. I am thankful to all the women and people who have inspired and empowered me to be steadfast and outspoken in the constant fight for gender equity for all. After graduation, I will carry on with my passion and work at Maine's statewide legal services organization, Pine Tree Legal Assistance (in Portland), where I will be taking on family law cases and representing many clients who are victims of domestic violence.”
- Haley Brazier, a graduating law student from the University of Maine School of Law.
