NAWL Committee Expectations

The success of NAWL Committees relies on the dedication and active involvement of both our members and staff. As a Committee member, you play a key role in helping us move forward and achieve our mission.

Here’s what we need from you:

Preparation & Engagement: Join Committee meetings regularly, participate in discussions, and review the agenda and materials ahead of time so you’re ready to contribute.
Initiatives & Projects: Take ownership of projects that resonate with you—whether that means leading, collaborating, or using your skills to make an impact. We count on you to complete tasks on time.
Support NAWL’s Mission: Support NAWL’s mission and spread the word about initiatives within your network and community.

If you feel you can’t meet your Committee commitments at any point, just let the Committee leadership know as soon as possible—we understand things can change.
