Tanya Forsheit is Vice President and Chief Privacy Officer at The New York Times Company. Tanya has more than 25 years of experience advising on high-profile matters involving confidential data and other sensitive information.
She previously led the privacy practice at several law firms including Loeb & Loeb and Frankfurt Kurnit. Tanya is a past President of the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles, a past Trustee of the Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA), and was the Founding Chair of LACBA’s Privacy and Cybersecurity Section. Tanya graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1997.
