Marina Gracias is General Counsel / Corporate Secretary of Varo Money, Inc., the first all digital national bank in the US. At Varo, she also leads the Public Policy and Social Impact and DEI initiatives and Contracts/Sourcing. Marina’s strategic leadership was pivotal in Varo obtaining the first digital only OCC national bank charter and guiding the organization through product launches and enterprise-wide business initiatives. As a key adviser to the C-suite and the Board, Marina has led the organization through significant milestones.
Before joining Varo, Marina was Managing Director at Accenture and also held various roles both on the business side and legal side at Visa, Providian and national law firms, including Chief Procurement Officer and Senior Vice President/Associate General Counsel She has worked extensively on global projects including M&A work in the UK and Argentina, outsourcing globally and bringing credit cards to Mynamar and debit processing to Japan.
Marina received her J.D. from University of California, Berkeley and her M.B.A. and B.S. from the Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley. Marina serves on the boards of UC Berkeley Haas School of Business and Junior Achievement Northern California.
