She leverages a proactive and creative approach that combines a clear focus on advancing business goals with the essential risk management aspect of the role. Jessica is recognized as a true business partner by CEOs, senior executives, board members, and shareholders.

Jessica’s journey is a testament to her resilience and dedication to lifelong learning. Throughout her undergraduate and law school years, she worked full-time and put herself through school while raising children. Rising through the ranks at Ricoh over two different chapters, she ultimately oversaw the entire corporate and transactional legal team supporting Ricoh's ~$4 billion Americas division as Vice President and Assistant General Counsel. From 2013 to 2018, Jess played a pivotal role at Axalta Coating Systems, LLC where she served as General Counsel for Canada and Associate General Counsel for the Americas. When she was VP and AGC at Ricoh, she was recruited by Cardone Industries, Inc., a Brookfield Private Equity Group portfolio company and leading automotive parts remanufacturing company, to fill the strategic General Counsel role in 2021.

At Cardone, Jessica was promoted to Chief Administrative Officer and led a team of 65, overseeing the company’s Legal, Human Resources, Import / Export Compliance, Risk Management, and Government Relations functions. Jess was instrumental in steering the company through the complexities of one of the first Rapid Response Labor Mechanism proceedings under the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), which involved direct negotiations with the Biden administration and the Mexican government. Her leadership was crucial in mitigating reputational damage and averting border tariffs and a potential ban on imports. Additionally, she resolved numerous complex matters in the company's favor adding tens of millions of dollars to the company's bottom line through settlements and costs avoided, including trade secrets, commercial litigation, and high-profile labor matters.

Following the sale of Cardone, Brookfield retained Jessica as an Executive in Residence to support other portfolio companies in executive roles. In 2024, Jessica joined S&B USA, a leading infrastructure development and heavy civil construction company as EVP, Chief Legal Officer and Chief Compliance Officer.

Jessica’s leadership and influence extends beyond her in-house leadership roles, as evidenced by her community involvement and external recognition, including the 2023 Titan 100 – Philadelphia award and the Philadelphia Business Journal’s Corporate Counsel Rising Star award in 2015.

Jessica and her husband have five children, including one with Angelman Syndrome (who has no speech and intellectual and developmental disabilities). She enjoys contributing to her Pittsburgh and Philadelphia communities, including through board service.
