Jason Klein is SVP and General Counsel of USAA Federal Savings Bank and Chief Corporate Governance Officer and Corporate Secretary for USAA.

Jason joined USAA in August 2020 after 17 years in the Legal Department at JPMorgan Chase and Washington Mutual. He was most recently General Counsel, Legal Operations and Chief of Staff for JPMorgan's General Counsel. In that role Jason led the teams responsible for the operation of the JPMC Legal Department, including Legal Technology and Data; Outside Counsel Management and Legal Third Party Oversight; Controls; Legal and Regulatory Change Management; and Organizational Effectiveness.

Jason previously served as the General Counsel for JPMC's Consumer Banking & Wealth Management business and General Counsel for its Small Business Banking line of business. Earlier in his in-house his career, Jason handled civil litigation and government and regulatory investigations, prior to which he was a partner at Davis Wright Tremaine in Seattle, Washington.

Jason and his wife, Carrie, have been married for 35 years and have two children and two grandchildren.
