I have been involved with NAWL for over 13 years now, volunteering and leading conferences in all sorts of roles. They keep asking, I keep saying yes, and I'm thrilled and honored to be co-chairing the first-ever (un)conference.

I am regulatory counsel at an insurance company called Markel, based in a Chicago suburb. I've been with Markel for 3 years, doing a variety of work supporting marketing, claims, underwriting, SIU, and other business units. Prior to joining Markel, I spent 14 years at Allstate Insurance Company, handling everything related to personal lines insurance.

Outside of work, I play competitive tennis and love watching my two teenagers compete in their sports—tennis, soccer, cross-country, volleyball, and wrestling.
