Ann Fairchild is Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Siemens Corporation in the United States. Ms. Fairchild oversees the Legal and Compliance operations of Siemens in the United States. As a member of the Siemens U.S. executive leadership team, she enhances business strategy and policy through pragmatic leadership for Siemens U.S. operations. She is a member of the Siemens Corporation Board of Directors, as well as a director for the Siemens Political Action Committee Board.


Prior to her current position, Ms. Fairchild was General Counsel of Siemens Gas and Power, leading a global organization of over 500 legal and compliance professionals in the energy operations and supporting the carve-out of the energy operations in preparation for spin-off. Ms. Fairchild was also the General Counsel of Dresser-Rand, a Siemens Company, overseeing the integration of Dresser-Rand following the Siemens acquisition in 2015. From 2008-2013, Ms. Fairchild was the General Counsel for the Oil & Gas Division of Siemens AG, based in Duisburg, Germany. In this role she had global responsibilities for the legal affairs of the Oil & Gas operations of Siemens. 


Ms. Fairchild is a Board Member of the German American Business Council, an independent non-profit organization which fosters transatlantic business dialogue between Germany and the United States. She is also the Executive Sponsor of the Women’s Impact Network at Siemens, or WIN@Siemens, a national network committed to promoting the inclusion, awareness and understanding of issues and challenges facing women within the Siemens workforce. The purpose for WIN@S is to heighten awareness and address the unique business needs of women at Siemens, which contributes to Siemens core values and supports the Siemens goal of inclusion by attracting, retaining and motivating a diverse workforce. Ms. Fairchild is honored to work with the WIN@Siemens organization and is passionate about its mission.


Ms. Fairchild joined Siemens Power Generation Inc. in 1999. Prior to joining Siemens, Ms. Fairchild was an associate with McGuire Woods in McLean, Virginia. She clerked for the Honorable Tommy Miller, United States District Court, Eastern District of Virginia from 1996-1997.


Ms. Fairchild obtained her Bachelor of Science in Commerce from the McIntire School of Commerce, University of Virginia in 1993, and her J.D. from the William & Mary School of Law in 1996.
