Emily Miller is an Associate General Counsel on the Bank & Governance Counsel team for USAA. Emily provides primary legal support to USAA Federal Savings Bank’s Military Benefits Operations and Consumer Credit Reporting Operations. Prior to her current role, Emily supported mortgage originations and fulfillment, state regulatory change management, and fair and responsible banking.

Before joining USAA, Emily was an associate attorney with Ballard Spahr LLP and Hudson Cook LLP, where her practices focused on helping national and state banks, licensed mortgage lenders and mortgage servicers, and other consumer lenders comply with various federal and state laws and regulations.

Emily received a B.A. in English from The Ohio State University and graduated cum laude with a Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore.
