Desiree DeStefano is the CFO of Mariposa Capital, a Miami based family office focused on long term value creation within its direct, active and controlling investments across various industries including 4 public companies and 1 large privately held business in the consumer space.



Prior to joining Mariposa Capital in 2013, Desiree was a finance executive at a number of public companies including Jarden Corporation from 2001 to 2007 and CFO of Igloo Coolers from 2010-2013 overseeing mergers and acquisitions, acquisition integration, financial planning and reporting, information technology, HR and legal. She started her career in audit at PricewaterhouseCoopers in NYC and graduated from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 1989.
